Florence Crittenton Services of North Carolina
Our current service project adopted by the guild is in support of the Charlotte area Florence Crittenton Services. On their site, they explain their work this way:
Founded in 1903, Florence Crittenton Services of North Carolina is a non-profit organization providing single mothers and their babies comprehensive medical/prenatal care, social, educational, adoption and parenting support services, as well as, substance abuse intervention, treatment and prevention. Promoting health and hope for tomorrow’s children, Florence Crittenton Services provides an opportunity for a healthy pregnancy, healthy baby and positive life choices.
At every meeting, Jeanie H. collects items that you’ve made and coordinates their delivery to FCS. Jeanie took some photos of some recent donations, and we’re happy to share them with you now.
